This update is recommended to add the complete set of Software Instruments and Apple Loops to use with GarageBand. After the download and installation is complete, you must restart GarageBand to use the new content.

The following items will be downloaded and installed:

• Over 60 software instruments, including drums, basses, guitars, horns, strings, woodwinds, and synths
• 650+ Apple Loops

This update requires 1.2 gigabytes of available storage (or "free disk space") on your Mac. The content will download and install automatically.
